Dear Bob:
I am happy to provide a letter of
reference for you to use as you seek speaking
opportunities.
Although I had heard about you
before, the first time I remember meeting you was two
years ago when your daughter Christina won the Miss
Alaska Pageant—and I was serving as a judge. I could
tell from your interactions with your wife and children,
as well as our subsequent conversations, that you are a
man of substance and good character.
As you well know, Alaska is a land
of tremendous beauty and resources—yet its most valuable
resource is its people. And despite our tremendous
wealth as a State, many of our people face social and
spiritual bankruptcy. They need the benefit from a
demonstration of faith that says, “I love you, God loves
you and you can count on us both.” Thank you for being
someone they can count on.
I appreciate your example of
Christian leadership in your own home—but also in the
church you pastor and in your community. Thank you for
your willingness to engage our culture—and to
communicate the need for that clearly as you encourage
others to do likewise.
Sincerely
Loren Leman
Lieutenant Governor

Dear Friend,
In 1989, I stopped into Abundant
Life Assembly of God with a friend of mine to meet
Pastor Bob Reasner. He was newly pastoring a very small,
country church in rural Alaska. My, how times change.
Over the years we have become good friends, spending
many hours together ministering. Recently, I had the
opportunity to speak there again and hold a series of
meetings. This was probably the fifth time in the last
15 years that I’ve had that privilege. The changes are
stunning. Yes, the congregation has multiplied many,
many times and they’ve built a wonderful new facility.
While that is the most easily quantified change, the
best is the fruit readily seen in the lives of his
people.
Our company, Good Catch Publishing,
had the privilege of working with Abundant Life in
publishing a book entitled “Life Lines, Real People,
Real Stories.” The reason we were interested is
because of the quality and depth of impact that the Lord
has had on these people. We most recently published “Big
God, little devil” a super well written and
strengthening book on the true victory the Lord has
given us over the enemy. This gave us a very unique and
up-close look at Bob’s teaching and the fruit of his
ministry. What we found was that the teaching perfectly
corresponded to the changed lives we saw in the
fellowship.
More than anything else, that
describes Bob Reasner to me. He is someone who has held
on and contended, not with mere emotion, but with
intelligence, determination and strategy given by the
Spirit of God. He has, with enormous expressions of
faith, stepped forward into areas unpaved by previous
leaders and brought healing to the most wounded and
needy.
I would like to personally
recommend my friend to you. He is a gifted communicator,
powerful writer and a man whose ministry has been
vigorously tested on the anvil of real life. It’s passed
the test. I pray that you have the opportunity to be
touched by this man. Whether you get the opportunity to
read his books, or have the added pleasure of hearing
him speak, you will be forever changed by the Spirit of
God flowing through this full-on servant.
Sincerely,
Daren Lindley

Re: Reference Letter for Pastor Bob
Reasner
From: Dr. Art Mathias, President
and founder of Wellspring Ministries
I first met Pastor Bob when we
taught a Wellspring seminar in his church in 2002. Since
then I have had several opportunities to serve with him
and to get to know him and his ministry. I and other
members of my staff have ministered to and know many of
the people in his congregation.
Bob is one of the most
knowledgeable pastors I know in inner healing and
deliverance. He is able to work with people from many
different theological backgrounds. He is able to train
and release people into ministry.
Bob, through the power of the Holy
Spirit has built a remarkable church in the middle of
nowhere. Sterling Alaska is literally a “wide spot in
the road,” but Abundant Life Church is a thriving and
growing fellowship of people who are hungry for more of
God.
Bob serves as a member of
Wellspring Ministries board of directors and has been a
great recourse to Wellspring and myself.
In His service,
Dr. Art Mathias

To Whom It May Concern,
I am honored to share this letter
of recommendation on behalf of Pastor Bob Reasner,
Sterling, Alaska.
My wife Pat and I had opportunity
to visit Sterling, stay in the Reasner home and visit
the church Bob has pastored for many years. We were very
impressed! Bob has led the congregation through building
programs and today a strong church has been established
that has an impact throughout that area of Alaska. I was
amazed at the quality of the building and the
attendance.
Pastor Bob is a capable speaker. He
has shared ministry in our chapel here at Northwest
University with the result that our students and faculty
were encouraged and blessed.
The Reasner’s have raised a
wonderful family of three girls. All three girls are
strong Christians, a tribute to the home in which they
were raised.
I believe Pastor Bob will be a
blessing wherever he is invited to minister. He has a
contemporary word that will challenge and encourage.
Sincerely,

Don Argue, Ed.D.
President Northwest University

To Whom It May Concern:
It is a genuine joy to reference the ministry to Robert
Reasner(Bob). He has been a personal friend for more
than twenty years. I have ministered in his church every
years for years on end, including this year. And in
other seasons, have walked with him as his vision for
missions, training, and touching others has grown
exponentially.
He and his lovely wife Polly have raised three of the
neatest daughters, all of whom are married and are
fruitful followers of Jesus. I have know all of them
since they were children.
Bob is anointed, comes to the pulpit fresh, is gifted in
catching the wind of the spirit in a service, and is
powerful in direct ministry to individuals. Since Bob
has pastored many years, he comes with an understanding
of the needs of both the pastoral leadership and the of
the people as well, and of the consequences of ministry.
What do we leave behind? In his case, blessing.
Bob and Polly have recently resigned their long term
pastorate in Alaska and are available for ministry. I
heartily recommend them to anyone's pulpit that is
serious about having a spiritual breakthrough, a genuine
time of refreshing, and a season of edification for
leadership. Contact him now while he is still available.
